We woke up at 7:30 am. We were ready to leave at 9 am. The only challenge was backing out of the driveway on to the road. I tried for 20 minutes to get the angle right to get out of the driveway. I finally decided to do a circle in the yard (it had frozen solid after a night of 25 degree temperatures.). We were on the road at 10 am. We had decided to go to the Magnolia Gardens in Waco, Texas and we are very glad that we did. Chip and Joanna Gaines did a great job creating an artistic market place for their wares. Driving downtown tested my maneuverability skills but we found a large church parking lot and Google maps led us in and out of many places. We managed to spend 1.5 hours there. We had delicious veggie crepes for lunch. We left around 3 pm to make our way to our planned camping spot in Midland, Texas. Our trek took us through through Texas back country. We passed massive ranches, pastured cattle and sheep and some old run down structures from a by-gone era. After a 7 hour drive, including stops, we arrived at the Midland RV park around 10 pm. We had made a short stop at the local Walmart to pick up a few essentials. We ate our left overs from our Mexican meal and managed to get to bed by midnight. Tomorrow we head to Las Cruces,NM, our final stop.
